Programs and Services
Practical Programs. Stronger Foundations. Lasting Direction.
BearPeak Health and Wellness develops and delivers Indigenous-led programs that strengthen physical health, emotional regulation, identity, recovery, practical life skills, leadership, personal readiness, and community capacity.
Programs can be adapted for individuals, youth, men, families, First Nations, schools, health and prevention departments, treatment and recovery programs, community organizations, employers, and workforce partners.
Programs Built Around Real Needs
We begin with the people, the purpose, and the desired outcome—then build the program around them.
BearPeak recognizes that every individual, group, and community has different strengths, challenges, goals, resources, and cultural contexts. Most services are customized after an initial conversation rather than offered as one fixed package.
Programs may be delivered as individual sessions, workshops, presentations, short-term programs, multi-week initiatives, group training, leadership experiences, land-based activities, or larger community partnerships.
The purpose is to understand who the program will serve, what outcomes the client wants to support, and what form of delivery will be realistic, useful, and respectful.

From Inquiry to Program Delivery
Most BearPeak services are customized. The process begins with understanding who the program will serve, what the client wants to accomplish, and what type of delivery will be useful, realistic, safe, and respectful.
STEP 1 — Start the Conversation
The client submits an inquiry describing their organization or community, intended audience, location, goals, preferred dates, and the type of program or service being considered.
STEP 2 — Identify the Need
BearPeak meets with the client to understand participant needs, desired outcomes, available time, facilities, resources, cultural direction, safety considerations, travel requirements, and budget.
STEP 3 — Design the Program
BearPeak recommends or develops an appropriate program structure, content, delivery format, schedule, scope of work, safety requirements, and cost.
STEP 4 — Prepare and Deliver
The program is prepared and delivered using clear communication, professional facilitation, practical learning activities, appropriate participant information, and relevant safety procedures.
STEP 5 — Reflect and Build Forward
Where appropriate, BearPeak gathers attendance information, participant feedback, reflections, photographs with permission, and other agreed-upon documentation to support evaluation, accountability, reporting, and future program development.
Professional Scope and Safety
BearPeak Health and Wellness provides practical education, coaching, physical training, facilitation, lived-experience guidance, leadership development, and culturally grounded community programming.
Working Responsibly and Collaboratively
BearPeak’s services are intended to complement—not replace—appropriate medical care, emergency services, mental-health care, addiction treatment, clinical counselling, dietetic services, cultural leadership, or other regulated professional support.
Programs are adapted according to the participants, activities, setting, and level of risk. Depending on the program, appropriate requirements may include health screening, informed consent, liability waivers, parental or guardian consent, medical clearance, emergency planning, cultural guidance, qualified supervision, and activity-specific safety procedures.
Breathwork and cold-exposure activities require voluntary participation, appropriate screening, clear safety instruction, supervision, and gradual progression. Breath-hold exercises must never be performed in water, while driving, or anywhere a loss of consciousness could cause harm. Cold exposure is not appropriate for everyone and may require medical clearance.
Physical-training activities are adapted to participant age, ability, experience, goals, health information, available equipment, and program environment.
BearPeak supports appropriate collaboration with communities, families, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, healthcare providers, treatment professionals, educators, prevention teams, employers, and other relevant partners when required.
Safety, respect, informed participation, cultural responsibility, and appropriate professional boundaries are part of every BearPeak program.
